TrustSample is an India-based market research services provider. We conduct business and industry research only and do not engage in advertising, lead generation, or data resale.

2. Nature of Data Processed

TrustSample does not directly recruit respondents and does not intentionally collect or store directly identifiable personal data such as names, personal email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses.

However, in the course of providing market research services, limited data may be processed indirectly, including:

  • IP address
  • Device or browser information
  • Approximate location (country or region)
  • Anonymized or pseudonymized respondent identifiers
  • Survey responses provided voluntarily

3. Respondent Sourcing

Respondents participate in research studies via independent panel providers and survey platforms, including but not limited to:

  • Cint
  • Dynata
  • QuestionPro Audience

Panel providers are responsible for obtaining participant consent and managing personal data in accordance with their own privacy policies. TrustSample typically receives research data in anonymized or pseudonymized form.

4. Role Under Data Protection Laws

Depending on the engagement, TrustSample acts as a data processor or sub-processor. Panel providers act as independent data controllers, and clients act as data controllers for research outputs.

TrustSample processes data only on documented instructions and solely for market research execution and quality assurance.

5. Purpose Limitation

Any data processed by TrustSample is used strictly for:

  • Conducting market research
  • Ensuring data quality and authenticity
  • Preventing fraud and duplicate participation
  • Delivering anonymized or aggregated insights to clients

Data is never used for marketing, advertising, lead generation, or profiling.

6. Technology & Sub-processors

TrustSample uses established research technology platforms for survey hosting, respondent access, and quality validation, including QuestionPro and quality control tools. These providers operate under their own security and privacy frameworks.

TrustSample does not commercially exploit or repurpose technical data processed by such platforms.

7. Data Retention

Research data is retained only for as long as necessary to complete projects, meet contractual obligations, or comply with applicable legal or audit requirements. Data is periodically reviewed and deleted when no longer required.

8. Information Security

TrustSample maintains internal controls and procedures aligned with recognized quality and information security principles, including practices aligned with ISO 27001, to safeguard research data.

9. International Data Processing

Due to the global nature of market research operations and technology providers, data may be processed outside India using appropriate safeguards.
